Everyone could probably name a few movies that they have seen many times and never tire of...movies you could come across halfway through while channel surfing and watch the rest of, or movies that are seasonal traditions yet also get a slightly guilty sneak watch out of season. Often they are movies that speak to us on some personal level, or movies so brilliantly made that every viewing reveals fresh layers and nuances.

Here are a few of mine.....

The Big Lebowski - Coen Brothers

I can really relate to the Dude, except I love the Eagles and hate Creedence.

Fargo - Coen Brothers

I really like (most) of the movies these guys have made, hence 4 of theirs on this list

No Country For Old Men - Coen Brothers

Might as well get all the Coen Brothers films out of the way early in the list.

Oh Brother, Where Art Thou - Coen Brothers

One more from Joel and Ethan

Snatch - Guy Richie

A Christmas Story - Bob Clark

As a child, I WAS Ralphie, and the period is only a few years before my childhood. This movie fits me like OJ's glove and has been a family tradition with my own kids and grandkids.

Love Actually - Richard Curtis

Four Weddings and a Funeral - Richard Curtis

The Blues Brothers - John Landis

Apocalypto - Mel Gibson

Pulp Fiction - Quentin Tarentino

Natural Born Killers - Oliver Stone

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - Garth Jennings
